Licious Hair Booking Policy

Licious Hair requires a 50% deposit for all services. An appointment is confirmed only once the deposit has been received and Licious Hair has confirmed the booking via WhatsApp.

The remaining balance for a standard in-studio Licious Hair appointment is payable after the service has been completed. Off-site bridal bookings follow a different final-payment schedule.

Licious Hair accepts EFT, cash, card and PayFast for appointment payments.

Licious Hair does not accept walk-ins. The studio operates by appointment only so that every client has dedicated time.

Licious Hair allows a booking deposit to be transferred once when an appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. The deposit transfers to the client’s next confirmed appointment and is not treated as a cash refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment forfeit the deposit, and a new 50% deposit is required for another booking.

A Licious Hair appointment may be rescheduled with at least 12 hours’ notice. The existing deposit may be transferred once to a new appointment date agreed and confirmed with the Licious Hair team.

A Licious Hair booking deposit may be transferred only once. A second reschedule requires a new 50% deposit.

A rescheduling request made less than 12 hours before a Licious Hair appointment is not eligible for deposit transfer. A new 50% deposit is required for a new booking.

Licious Hair uses different late-arrival thresholds depending on how late the client arrives. If you know you will be late, contact the team as early as possible and ideally at least two hours beforehand.

A Licious Hair no-show forfeits the booking deposit. A new 50% deposit is required before another appointment can be confirmed.

Natural hair must be freshly washed, completely dry, blow-dried and prepared in clean cornrows or wig lines before a Licious Hair installation appointment. It should also be free from oils and excessive product.

Licious Hair does not currently provide natural-hair washing or cornrow or wig-line preparation as part of an installation appointment. Clients must arrive fully prepared.

Licious Hair accepts suitable wigs purchased from other suppliers for installation. The wig must meet the preparation and condition requirements below.

A wig brought to Licious Hair for installation must be clean, washed, completely dry and detangled. Its lace must be glue-free and must not be torn or materially damaged.

A wig that is not ready for installation may be prepared by Licious Hair at an additional cost when the required work can be completed safely within the available time. Availability depends on the work required and the day’s schedule; a unit that is too dirty or unsuitable for immediate installation may require the appointment to be rescheduled.

A wig requiring treatment, customisation or restoration should be dropped off at Licious Hair at least 48 hours before the appointment.

Licious Hair wig preparation may include washing, lace cleaning, plucking, knot bleaching, colouring, cutting, styling or restoration, depending on the unit and work required. Additional charges may apply.

Same-day additions to a Licious Hair appointment are subject to the available schedule and are not guaranteed. Request curls, cutting, colouring, washing, restoration or other additional styling when booking wherever possible.

Requesting installation or customisation authorises Licious Hair to carry out the preparation required for the service, including cutting or customising the lace where necessary.

Once a unit has been worn, installed or materially customised—including having its lace cut—its eligibility under the ordinary unused-product return policy may change. Review the Returns & Exchanges Policy before installation if you have concerns.

A Licious Hair makeup appointment requires no special preparation unless the team has provided specific instructions for the booking.

Clients should tell Licious Hair before an appointment about relevant skin or scalp sensitivity, known allergies, or previous reactions to adhesives, wig glue, makeup or hair products.

Licious Hair offers off-site bridal services for groups of four or more, subject to availability and quotation. The same 50% deposit structure applies.

Licious Hair charges a R400 call-out fee plus R9 per kilometre for mobile bridal bookings. Distance is calculated on the complete round trip from the Licious Hair studio to the venue and back.

The remaining 50% balance for an off-site Licious Hair bridal booking is due the day before the service. A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.

Accommodation may be required for a long-distance Licious Hair bridal booking when same-day travel is not reasonably practical. Any accommodation requirement will be discussed, agreed and included in the quotation before the booking is confirmed.

Changes to the number of people or booked services for a Licious Hair bridal appointment require at least five days’ notice.

Licious Hair appointments do not allow additional guests because the boutique studio has limited space.

Children cannot accompany clients to Licious Hair studio appointments.

Licious Hair appointment hours are Tuesday–Friday, 09h00–17h00, and Saturday, 09h00–16h00. The studio is closed on Sunday and Monday.

A client with a concern about a completed Licious Hair service should contact the team within 24 hours so the matter can be assessed while the service is still recent.
